Physiology of Perimenopause
I am a doctor working with women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s, experiencing various challenges related to perimenopause and menopause. One question I hear in my clinic time and time again is: 'What is happening in my body and brain that's making me feel so different from before?'
Much of our consultation time is spent discussing the latest understanding of the physiology behind these changes. To make our sessions more efficient and focused on each person's unique life circumstances and needs, I promised my patients I would create a video that answers this common question. And that’s how this video came to be.
This short, free educational resource is designed for anyone born into a woman's body who wants to learn what's happening on a physiological level as we transition through perimenopause and into menopause. Perimenopause is a fascinating process, and when we take the time to slow down and connect with our bodies, we can transform both the knowledge and our body’s signals into a powerful health tool that guides us toward healthy menopause. Everyone's story is uniquely specific and different. The information in the video is general. Please consult your “hormone-informed “health professional for further assistance tailored to your individual needs. Let’s dive into the Physiology of Perimenopause.
